Mission Impossible for Scarlett

Scarlett Johansson is rumoured to be joining the cast of the Paramount Pictures production of "Mission Impossible 3". She will star along side Kenneth Branagh, Ving Rhames and leading man Tom Cruise. Ms Johansson recently won a Bafta for her acting in critically acclaimed "Lost In Translation". J.J Abrams completes Star Trek XI script

Trekkies can rejoice as J.J Abrams has announced he has finished writing the script for the long-awaited Star Trek XI movie. Intended for release some time in 2008, the film is to tell the story of Captain Kirk and Mr Spock in their formative years, Studio Briefing reports. The Dark Tower, a series of seven books written by Stephen King, may be developed into a film or television series and directed by JJ Abrams, it has emerged.
