Grafics from a kids Utube upload and terrible acting. Didn't even warrant the first class stamp that it was sent by.

the CGI is not very good the story is not very good & the acting is not very good, all in this is a completely naff creature feature which to be honest is what I expected & why I rented it
If you like to watch films that are so bad they are good then watch this film & enjoy it for what it is a fun way to pass 90 mins

Utter Garbage
By Fehya (9 reviews) from Chesterfield , 02 Oct 2011Well that was an hour and a half of my life wasted. Best part about the entire movie is Renee O'Connor in a bikini top for about 2 mins. And she looked a lot better in Xena. Unless you are the Pinball Wizard (deaf, dumb and blind), don't even watch the trailer. Graphics-crap, Story-crap, Acting-crap, Ending-crap...there is not one good thing to say about this film.- Was this review helpful to you?

Only rent this as a joke
By nathanmnm (2 reviews) from Reading, England , 01 Oct 2011This is so bad its almost good, but only almost, tbh its still unwatchable even if you know its a comedy toung-in-cheek version - the effects are an insult, I imagine my 5 year old daughter could do better in microsoft paint, true 1980's B-movie stuff. Apparently this 600 foot whale can absorb radar, walk on land at about two thousand feet per second, sit on top of the water wagging its tail for 60s or so like a dog in someones back yard and telepathically move water so it dosent disturb the surface despite leaping through the waves. Oh and it can dig into sand too, flip itself out of the water so its standing on its tail then, suspended in mid air, dig 600 feet down in seconds... Moby Dick becomes the size of Godzilla!
By a customer , 16 Sep 2011You have to like the tongue-in-cheek 'mockbuster' approach of Asylum to enjoy a film like this, as these are put together cheaply with over the top acting, daft story lines and basic CGI.
