    Columbo star Peter Falk has died at the age of 83. The beloved actor passed away peacefully at his Los Angeles home on Thursday (23Jun11). Falk was born in New York in 1927 and enjoyed a career spanning 50 years. He broke into the acting industry in 1956 when he landed a role in an off-Broadway production of Moliere's play Don Juan.     Burstyn joins Knightley for West End debut

    Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn will make her debut in London's West End next year (11) when she joins Keira Knightley in The Children's Hour. The Moliere classic, about a runaway student at an all-girls boarding school, is heading to the stage at The Comedy Theatre in January (11) and the 77 year old has signed on to portray the grandmother of one of the girls.
