    great

I loved this when I first watched it on tv so going back to it was a must for me. Great acting, nice family entertainment, brilliant cast.

    What a lovely world...

A few years ago, a friend loaned me a tape of the series, 'You will love this,' she said. And she was right. It's a roller coaster ride of gentle humour and spectacular scenery.

Great, light hearted and easy watching

I love this series! It really makes you want to pack up and move to the middle of the nowhere! A great storyline with fantastic characters and something different in every episode. A 'must see' series!

    Recommended by a friend

Recommended by a friend but it still didn't do anything for me. Male lead not compelling enough to hold any real interest.

    Wonderful

I missed at least the earlier two series of this gentle adventure set amid spectacular scenery. The latest series has not been so good with most of the original 'stars' having left so it was particularly pleasing to see how good it was originally. To use someone else's review - Entertaining from start to finish. Fantastic portayal of all characters, a real feel good series! Don't miss it!

    not really interested

I watched this on the recommendation of a friend but it didn't really grip me. A little lacklustre and very predictable.

    Under sufferance

A friend recommended this so I rented it under sufferance. Really shouldn't have bothered. Average, sunday night viewing - which I shouldn't complain about since that is all it ever was.
