[Highly rated reviewer]What can I say, nice scenery, fantastic acting, a great series that I can't believe I didn't watch on TV until near the end of the last series that was on. Some of the story lines can be a bit repetitive but Richard Briers makes up for this with his antics. The area where this is filmed is well worth a visit if you get the chance. Looking forward to watching the next series

Not the SameBy Fritha (16 reviews) from London , 03 Jun 2007I have watched the first three episodes and have been disappointed. The first two series were absolutely wonderful, but this one has started off badly. The three episodes have exactly the same plot -- Archie needs money; Archie is unlucky in love. While this is still good televison, it does not live up to the promise of the first two series.
The other gripe I have is the extra bonus features. They have been exactly the same for all three series. Why bother? Once is enough, especially as they are not that special to begin with.
Here's hoping the next episodes pick up the pace a bit!
Last of the good episodesBy a customer from laurencekirk , 01 Nov 2006I am a fan of monarch and found these last episodes a joy to watch and have even bought all the DVDs. Good acting, breathtaking scenery, comic and tragedy. Well worth watching.
very goodBy mcse0022 from Birmingham , 16 Jun 2005Once again, another fine set of episodes from the motg cast. It`s very well scripted, has lots of laughs and is suitable for all the family
very goodBy mcse0022 from Birmingham , 16 Jun 2005I can`t emphasise enough how much humour is in this show, it has a very attractive cast who blend well together and they have the ability to create a fantastic on screen unit.
very goodBy mcse0022 from Birmingham , 16 Jun 2005A nice escape from the normal day to day drudge of every day life with great actors who bring light entertainment in every way possible making this an excellent escape.
