Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers star in this classic - comedy about a alchemist who discovers the secret of eternal youth. For years, Dr. Barnaby Fulton (Grant) has been working on a youth-restoring serum with little success - until the day a chimpanzee gets loose in the lab and accidentally concocts the exact formula Fulton has been searching for. The hilarity begins when, unbeknownst to anyone the chimpanzee pours it into the office water cooler. For which with each successive drink, everyone gets younger. When Fulton's stunning secretary (Marilyn Monroe) and lovely wife get a taste of the potion, the chemical reaction is explosive and hilarious fun.

Remarkably laboured comedy by and with top people; it can't fail to have funny moments, but they are few and far between.
If you've seen Arsenic and Old Lace (and if not, why not?), you'll know Cary Grant had a great flair for knockabout, OTT comedy. This is him cutting loose again in the tale of a professor that discovers a rejuvenating serum. Utter nonsense, but put your brain in neutral and just revel in the joy of it all. And don't be fooled by this movie's inclusion in the Marilyn Monroe collection - she only has a supporting role at best. Fun, silly and unashamedly escapist!
Not Cary Grant's funniest but certainly worth watching with some really funny scenes - particularly when the characters regress to childhood. It pains me to say it but the main monkey is more amusing than the supporting cast!
