A Quebecois delight
By a customer , 24 May 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
The children and adults go on a journey of acceptance on the way giving an insight into Quebecois culture. I really enjoyed this film.- Was this review helpful to you?

(14)Wonderful film
By Tallrich (9 reviews) from Essex. UK , 21 Apr 2013This film is an absolute gem. Its a story of love, acceptance and caring. As previously said, it's a little implausible in places, but it doesn't matter. I give it 10 out of 10!- Was this review helpful to you?

Beautiful film
By jacktheboxer (10 reviews) , 20 Mar 2013This film was a real find. Utterly charming, quietly moving and wonderfully acted by both adults and children. It also captured the essense of teachers and teaching.- Was this review helpful to you?

Gentle and moving
By TEMESIDER (32 reviews) from Ludlow , 02 Mar 2013A really unusual film, sensitive, good performances, well worth watching. You feel for the teacher and his struggle to get citizenship, you feel for the schoolchildren who have to deal with losing not only their previous teacher, but adapt to the new one.- Was this review helpful to you?

Story brought to life by the child actors
By Wonderouswitch (19 reviews) from London , 10 Feb 2013I was pleasantly surprised by how touching this story was, dealing with the aftermath of suicide and the effects on those left behind. The child actors are simply superb in this film, totally believable and natural in their reactions. It's a really good film which I'd highly recommend to anyone.- Was this review helpful to you?

Subtle and sweet.
By gingerspike (410 reviews) from Grimsby , 09 Feb 2013There are indeed some implausibilities in the plot, but this is a wonderful and beautifully crafted film that has a huge heart. It's a tale of grief, loss and acceptance involving a class of school children and their new teacher. Produced by the team behind the truly amazing film Incendies.- Was this review helpful to you?
