Redneck clichés flow as freely as the gore in this derivative comedy horror. Ripping off everything from Duel to Jeepers Creepers, it's an uneven and irreverent tale that tries to be both funny and scary, but ends up not really being either. Wimpy Eric Jungmann and his obnoxious buddy Justin Urich find a cross-country road trip turning to terror when they become the target of a disfigured fiend driving a monster truck. Throw in a scantily clad hitch-hiker (Aimee Brooks), the occult and puerile female genitalia jokes, and you've got a daft genre hybrid best suited to teenagers and fans of trashy B-movies. Anyone else is likely to sneer at the rubbery effects, the ridiculous scenarios and the grating dialogue. Yet despite such glaring faults, the film still has its effective moments, with the left-field conclusion particularly good fun.

I could not stop laughing out loud at this film. It is not scary or jumpy but I really was laughing most of the way through it along with everyone else in the cinema. I would definately recommend this as a movie to see and enjoy, just don't expect a horror, this is without doubt a comedy.
I decided that I should at least give this film a try, even though it has quite a few bad reviews. The film itself is very similar in story to Road Kill or the first half of Jeepers Creepers. The premise is simple - you have a few youths that take a road trip together only to be chased across the country by a strange psychotic villain in an even weirder vehicle (and believe me, the vehicle is certainly that). The idea behind the film is certainly not original but you could forgive them if they actually managed to pull the film off. However, the film seems to be confused as to whether it?s a spoof like scary movie or a serious horror. There were some seriously cringe-worthy moments, like the comedy running away scenes that only seemed to be missing the Benny Hill music. To give the film its due, if it was trying to be a comedy it had some laugh out loud moments (especially the yoda quotes during, what should have been, a passionate moment) and likewise as a horror it had some fairly good scenes to keep fans occupied. However, what it all boils down to is the fact that the film couldn't make its mind up what it wanted to be and hence played out like some bizarre jumbled mess of scenes. It is probably worth a watch it you like gory OTT horrors so that you can make up your own mind up but I certainly won't be buying this as a result of watching it... although I will probably rent it out again in a few years time to try and see if it makes any more sense on a second sitting!! :o)
