In the conspiracy thriller stakes, this is minor league stuff, but very entertaining nonetheless. In a more serious role than usual, writer/star Keenen Ivory Wayans plays a former army sniper recruited into a shadowy government organisation only to find himself framed for the murder of the First Lady. The political machinations don't bear close scrutiny, but director David Glenn Hogan stages some immaculate action set pieces and the cast is top quality, with Jon Voight in a dress rehearsal for his role in Enemy of the State.
Formulaic conspiracy-and-chase thriller; its only interest lies in another over-the-top performance from Voight as a crazed general.

This is by far Keenen Ivory Wayans best movie. It's a political thriller which isn't too taxing on the brain and the hour and a half breezes by because it's so much fun! The Wayans humour is there because Keenen wrote the screenplay himself so you know the one liners are golden.
So if you want a decent 90's thriller which is alot of fun and not too long then go for this gem!
This is one of those action films where the 'good guy' hero is the biggest donkey in it, no harm to the lad, but the bad guy is first class. This film is worth a watch for Jon Voight's 'dodgy' General, he's over the top brilliant and a sound supporting cast make it a decent action number.
