Not What I Expected

Having looked longingly at the case of this film in the video shop when I was a young girl (as I did with all of the horror films back then - being 6 or 7 at the time meant I usually ended up with something rubbish...), I experienced a flood of nostalgia when I saw it for rental here. I was expecting a lot of blood and some pretty sick stuff, but it was just a strange sarcastic film that never really went anywhere...

Is the acting meant to be bad? Is the plot deliberately less than patchy? I couldn't tell.

I watched it all, and may have smirked at some points, but if it had decided to be wholly comedy or horror or thriller or more like 'Troll' perhaps, I could have enjoyed it more, regardless of how badly it has aged...

Nya, I'll go back to watching 976-Evil and House :)
