By ShakeelAhmad (1 review) , 19 May 2013The Desperate Hours is a 1955 film from Paramount Pictures starring Humphrey Bogart and Fredric March. ,Director by William Wyler, In 1986 I saw this movie on TV, I was 19 years old at the time, and this movie sent shivers down my spine, movies came and movies went, at last a movie was made with a bit of similarity and filled with extreme punch, Mother's Day took me on a thrilling ride with much more spine chilling sensation from the beginning to the very end, it's a must see movie of the year.- Was this review helpful to you?

Daft Acting
By a customer , 28 Apr 2013When ever I watch these films - it makes me wonder would people really be as stupid as this - a policeman that doesnt seem to call for assistance first before going over to the crashed car - come on be realistic - the makers of these films make humans out to be thick and stupid and we really as daft as they act- Was this review helpful to you?

Flowers and Chocolates
By manonfireuk (300 reviews) from Liverpool , 13 Apr 2013It seems mothers aren't happy with the usual chocolate and flowers anymore, there has to be killing and torturing to keep mothers happy these days. This film wasn't too bad, there is some over the top acting from some of the lesser known actors but Rebecca De Mornay was pretty good, here she seems to be channeling an older version of the psycho she played in The Hand That Rocks The Cradle that came out some 20 years ago. I probably would have rated it higher had it not been for the implausible ending, other than that, not too bad.- Was this review helpful to you?
