Truthful
By a customer from Alexandria , 01 Jun 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
Truthful film showing the real story instead of made up drama. Geraldine Chaplin was excellent in the role and the characters involved are all in there. I watched this with a former member of the Missions of Charity who was involved in her work in the 1970's. She was very impressed with the storyline and pointed out some of the Sisters involved. Well worth watching!- Was this review helpful to you?

Good
By Embodiments (8 reviews) from London , 21 Feb 2009This is a great movie especially for those interested in volunteer work of any kind. Mother Teresa teaches us through her personal example in this movie how to do work with faith, persistence, determination, fearlessness, and most importantly humility. The acting and production isn't of the general Hollywood standard - but for me that is unimportant. I was moved to tears during some points because certain incidents such as the part where the man repeatedly says 'Im Thirsty' have reminded me of events in my own life, where sometimes you just feel helpless. Helplessness is an illusion as Mother Teresa proves after this incident- through determination, persistance, strength and faith. What tops it all is compassion that is the main motivation. See a real superhero in action. Watch this instead of superman- Was this review helpful to you?
