Could have been a really good movie. Although the the story line was a good one the acting was poor by all but Ellen Page and Maxwell McCabe. Eric Thal, the leader needs to give up acting completetly. Most people would have left his group after 1 day. He was totally rubbish.Ellen Page was excellent as was Maxwell.
No this has nothing to do with Charles Manson apart from the odd bit of manipulation & brain washing technics.Theres no LSD,no murders & not much happening with the outside world as the film deals with ex drug users, the homless & Ellen Page, who is neither, but rebellious. All together the gang are out to change the world, sadly Harry or was it Henry, the leader, isnt quite as commited & has his own interests at heart. This film, has no action,no car chaces & alot of veiwers will dismiss it as boring, but it had me intrigued.
