La Clemencia Di Tito
I found this hitherto unknown to me opera disappointing and perhaps that is why it is not a well vnown one as I cannot be alone in this opinion. Why the characters were wearing dress appropriate to a period about 15 cehturies ahead of the time of the story seemed incongruous and the places where the action took place were baffling and surely should have been relevant to the story. A synopsis would have been helpful.
Not one of Mozart's memorable works and in my opinion was a commision for some person's gratification.
