This shows that Rowan Atkinson is no has bean... back with his bags packed and the promise of a holiday in the Sun, in typical Mr Bean fashion nothing goes as it should, and ends in some very funny situations.
It might be a bit worn and juvenile for some, but all in all, Rowans brand of humour appeals to old and young alike, and has the ability to tickle the parts some comedy talent can't reach. Watch it with anyone from 4 to 104 and everyone will have a laugh at some point in this. Definately worth a rent.
This is one of the funniest films ever. I saw it at the cinema, but I thought it was so good I had to rent it to see it again. Rowan Atkinson is a perfectionist in making us believe in the character of Mr Bean. The documentaries on the DVD go into this further and are very interesting to watch.
The storyline itself is good, and follows the hapless Mr Bean who wins a holiday in the south of France just trying to get there, and the adventures he has on the way. He has more fun getting there than he has there, as well as many mishaps.
The deleted scenes on the DVD are worth watching too.
The film also contains some wonderful scenic views of France, including the new bridge that was built that is one of the biggest (or maybe the biggest) in the world.
The dialogue is a mixture of English, French and Russian, and it is the different languages that at times really adds to the misunderstandings and thus the comedic situations.
Well worth getting if you need something to cheer you up.

But while the rubber-faced funnyman, played by Rowan Atkinson, may enjoy the top spot, he may have to contend with two releases scheduled for this weekend which could see Easter holidaymakers flocking to cinemas. Sunshine and Blades of Glory are due to hit the big screen tomorrow; the first is a science fiction... Read more
