Good
By Si Aust from Ringwood, England , 19 Mar 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
Unpleasent, unsettleing, edgy, creepy, I agree with alot of what the other reviewers have said.
I too was surprised with this film, I was half expecting something like Lock Stock or Snatch etc, but instead got this gritty no thrills story of a hitman.
Some parts of this film made me very uncomfortable, they achieved a great atmosphere, especially with the tattooed man who is very odd!
Empty at the end yes, a strange and upsetting film, not to everyones tastes I would imagine.- Was this review helpful to you?

(19)A must watch
By Cardiffeon (12 reviews) from Cardiff , 30 Sep 2012Awesome! Andrew Howard's performance was magnificent. The film is disturbing but so compelling to watch. Mr Howard is clearly a rising star and an actor to keep your eye out for in the future.- Was this review helpful to you?

Disappointing.
By Chris from London , 09 Feb 2006I expected alot more from this British film but after a promising start it started to lose its way. The story did'nt really go anywhere and the acting was wooden, i think a stronger actor in the lead role would have helped. The film remained pretty dark throughout and there are some genuinely shocking moments but i could'nt help feeling a bit empty at the end. Not bad but could have been so much better.- Was this review helpful to you?

Different
By a customer from Thamesmead, LONDON , 15 Aug 2005Read the reviews and liked the sound of it. It was very disturbing and quite odd at times. Not the best film ive seen, but okay if you dont mind something a little different.- Was this review helpful to you?

underrated British movie
By a customer from not where i wanna be , 01 Aug 2005Apart from the underrated 'Gangster No.1' these movies aren't a patch on 1980s Brit gangster classics like 'The Long Good Friday' or 'The Hit'. I nearly bypassed 'Mr. In-Between' at first thinking it was going to more of the same, but it's actually much richer and more interesting.I highly recommend 'Mr In-Between' for those who enjoy dramas with a bit of depth and subtlety, and I really hope that Paul Sarossy gets the opportunity to direct again as he shows great promise.- Was this review helpful to you?
