This was one of the most rewarding movies I've seen... after I watched it a second time. As with any David Lynch film, you have to pay attention or you'll miss something (or everything). The great thing about films like these, which are few and far between in a popcorn eating commercial world, is that it makes you think about the film after you've seen it. You have to do a little work, but it's so satisfying when you get it. So, get it..!

  • What was that scene now?

What just happened? That was basically every scene in the film. Totally random. Seems like every scene was written by a different randomer then pieced together by a monkey. Some of the actors seem like they didnt have a clue what they were doing either. Worth watching if you're a budding director/writer and wanting to know how Not to do it!

Thriller based on life in Hollywood and the film industry. I have watched it twice to try to figure it out but its completely incomprehensible. It is without doubt the most weird, bizarre and strange film I have ever seen. There are many scenes that seem to have no relevance to the film at all. It is mind-bogglingly disjointed. The same characters keep reappearing in different guises and swopping roles. Dead people come back to life Others become miniature and walk underneath closed doors. There are two lesbian scenes which have a dubious relevance to the ‘plot’. If anyone knows what it is about please tell me. It must all be a metaphor for something I suppose. And the film is an agonizing 2 and a half hours long!

Yep, another film to go in the 'not a clue' drawer with the likes of momento, oldboy, lost in translation...
