This nifty made-for-TV variation on I Know What You Did Last Summer makes up for what it lacks in thrills with some cunning plotting. The film opens with four students burying a body in the deserted Devil's Glen. Fast forward eight years and one of their number (Rick Schroder) emerges from prison with some bad news for his now-respectable buddies: their burial ground is about to be redeveloped and they need to move the body. The friends relive the events leading to the tragedy, unaware that Schroder still has a few more shocks up his sleeve. Director Paul Shapiro manages to keep the viewer guessing right until the end and Schroder delivers a charismatic lead turn. Look out, too, for an appearance from Tara Reid, now best known for American Pie.
