You won't get to watch this film, as it's banned in the UK and cut by 20 minutes in the US, and if the director tries to make out he's outraged by it being cut, it's utter BS - as thats the best thing that could happen to him.
Evidently Nick Palumbo isn't a great writer - as this and his previous 'Nutbag' tell us - no plot at all, just unrelated killing scenes for the sake of it. So how does he make it in the film industry? yep, gets a film banned so everyone will try thier best to track it down uncut - well it worked on me! nice one Nick!
Watching the uncut version (which you won't find here, sorry!) I couldn't work out whether it was a piece of cinematic genious - or the secret fantasies of a geek whos been dumped by too many women. It's scene after scene of rape, torture and murder. Is it effective? Yes - people I know couldn't stomach this film at all. So for all Nick Palumbo's shortcomings in the writing department, he's still created a very successful cult film and made a name for himself.
The only real 'classical actor' in it is Tony Todd, and it's a damn shame he's been lumped in with the cult/horror crowd as he is quite an actor in my opinion. The short time he is in this film you can probably see him dying a little inside at having to work on films like this! His short cameo in it as the owner of an adult book store is certainly memorable.
Horror fans really can't afford to miss this landmark film, if you can get hold of it uncut then great, but you need quite a strong stomach.
