MUTINY ON THE BOUNTYBy a customer from Sussex England , 30 Sep 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]A thoroughly enjoyable film. Marlon Brando was totally convincing as Fletcher Christian with his clipped upper class English accent and a studied insolence in his attitutude and responses to the Captain Bligh 's cruel orders . This single minded cruelty towards the motley group men who were unfortunate enough to be his crew was well played by Trevor Howard.
The Tahittan scenery was magical as were the wonderful dancing girls.
Supporting actors were superb especially Richard Harris as the rabble riser on board.
The ending was true to Bligh's judgment of his men .. foolish and not to be trusted..... but spectacular on screen.
I look forward to seeing it again at a later date.

Mutiny on the BountyBy Sills (4 reviews) from Huddersfield , 10 May 2011Still a great film. Not dated at all. I wanted to watch it again after all these years and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Mutiny on the BountyBy a customer from Fleet , 17 Jan 2011Although I have seen this before, it is an excellent film and one that can be watched several times - especially this 1962 epic as it stars Marlon Brando!
Could watch it again and againBy pixie (238 reviews) from Redruth , 30 Sep 2010Have seen this film many times and needed to see it again. And again I loved it. Marlon Brando was such a handsome man and he is wonderful as Fletcher Christian, pompous and does things by the book but fairly.
Trevor Howard as the pig of a captain Bligh is evil and plays the part well.
Everyone knows the story but still a wonderful film.
A grand voyageBy RJNeb2 (922 reviews) from London , 03 Oct 2009Unjustly villified on release and after, this big sumptuous production is a grandly entertaining account of the famous mutiny, beautifully shot and staged with a strong epic feel. Howard is simply terrific as the odious Captain Bligh but Brando starts off the film ill-at-ease as an unusually fey Fletcher Christian. He improves dramatically as the film progresses when he's given more meat to work with. Nevertheless this is sterling entertainment.
FANTASTICBy Simon Brookes from Worcester, England , 02 Jun 2009Quite simply, if you haven't seen this film then just watch it. Quote long but a great story that hasn't dated. Marlon Brando is superb.
