this film is a superb film about real friendship. Francois is a middle aged Parisian, who has everything he wants. he has a rewarding job as an antiques dealer, a beautiful apartment, a very loving girlfriend, and a teenage daughter.
What he soon realizes though, is that he does not have, any true friends.
A bet is made - Francois has 10 days to come up with a best friend, to show off to his colleagues, or he will lose his newly acquired antique Greek vase.
He begins a search, to find a friend, which is very funny.
As Francois rides through Paris in search of his bet-winning friend, he meets, a general knowledge and trivia knowing taxi driver called Bruno.
The two of them seem to meet over and over again, in very funny situations. Is Bruno, destined to be Francois - new best friend? watch the film to find out, as i am not going to spoil it, by telling you.
well worth watching.

This film is excellent. A very moving portrayal of friendship, lonely people and what it means to have a true friend in life.It is easy to relate to in this day and age where people often find themselves surrounded by family, acquaintances and business contacts etc but do not have any true lasting friendships that they can count on when things are tough.Thhis film tecahes us the true value of friends in an entertaining and moving way with a good few laughs along the way.
Could Patrick Dempsey ride his small screen popularity in Grey's Anatomy to a big time movie career? It's been done before: just look at George Clooney. The comparison comes to mind not just because the roles and the shows are similar, but because Dempsey exudes a similar relaxed, sexy charm. Like Clooney, he seems deeply comfortable with himself, which is why he can play a confirmed bachelor who refuses to see the same woman on two nights running (the 'back-to-back rule') and not come off as...
