This is a light but observant story of a grumpy antiques dealer who discovers the importance of friendships through the unassuming company of a cab driver.

A too-seldom told story of the arrogance of some people who live to work rather than work to live.

The cab-driver is a lovely character who faces crippling stage-fright as he follows his dreams of using his talent to win a TV general knowledge quiz and the two men go on a journey of learning about friendship and being true to yourself, a journey that is often impossible to make alone.

About the reviewer: sophsweet

I have long had an interest in drama and helped backstage at school plays, had an affinity for 'treatments' in drama O'level and went on to do theatre reviews for various London newspapers. I'm currently writing a play I have already successfully pitched. I do stand-up comedy and enjoy factual drama and biopics particularly.
