(26)200 Yards......
By Panna (55 reviews) from Gloucestershire , 30 May 2013Found this film excellent. The disparity of life in England and in the trenches of the First World War was well represented here. The waste of lives lost for a very small victory, in the case of Jack Kipling, 200yds. It was a good heartfelt story, well acted, particularly by Kim Cattrell as Jack's mother and left me thinking about the consequences of actions.- Was this review helpful to you?

bit slow
By hanz_7 (4 reviews) , 27 Feb 2012I saw this when it first came out but I'd forgotten the story since. I remembered it being good but I got bored this time around watching it. The story was slow, it was ok but i got quite bored.- Was this review helpful to you?

A good film but main leads are mis-cast
By a customer from OXON , 21 Dec 2011I enjoyed the film and the story but I think that the main leads were mis-cast. Daniel wasn't a very inspired choice (but good for getting people into the cinema I suppose) and David Haig is forever in my mind the comic detective in 'Thin Blue Line' so I was just waiting on him to revert to old character...!- Was this review helpful to you?

Moving, Convincing acting
By HeverG (69 reviews) from Surrey, England , 05 Aug 2011Quite a moving film, everyones acting is convincing. There is a big gap in the middle of the film where nothing much happens, got a bit bored. And if anyones waching this because they fancy Dan Radciffe, don't bother, he looks awful in it - specially with that tash!- Was this review helpful to you?
