Although 10 years old, it was great to see this film again. Unlike so many today's films, it is a 'nice' film that all the family can watch together.
Gerard Depardieu takes his 14 year old daughter that he has not seen for a while due to a divorce on a holiday to the Bahamas. To make herself seem more interesting to a boy she fancies, she tells him that her father is actually her lover and everyone at the resort soon hears the creepy news. The funniest moment in the whole film is when Gerard Depardieu is asked to perform at a talent night and sings something French and innocently chooses 'Thank Heaven for Little Girls'!
Although all the guests at the resort assume him to be a paedophile, soon everthing is all sorted out and I am able to assure you that it is handled so well that it really is suitable as a family film.
