This is some of the most original comedy to have left the US in years. Jason Lee stars as 'Earl' a trailer-trash ex-criminal who reads an article about Karma and suddenly believes that he must make right all of the wrongs he has committed if he wants good things to happen to him. The premise is simple but the resulting stories are works of genius. Each episode revolves around a different 'wrong' that Earl wants to put right. Jason Lee and the supporting cast are all fantastic, each one of them obnoxious in their own way, but each one of them endearing to the viewer. This is highly recommended to all fans of Kevin Smith and anybody who just likes good, relaxed, intelligent comedy. A+++
I only managed to see a couple of the episodes when they were on T.V. As soon as it was available I grabbed the DVD. Quite simply, every episode, will have you laughing out loud. The characters are so well played, with the Material so well written and each episode a story in its own right, it ticks every box a sitcom should be. Rent it. You will not be disappointed. I ended up buying it. I cannot wait for series two!
