NCIS Los Angeles
By a customer from York , 02 Sep 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
I am a dedicated follower of NCIS and tend to regard spin-offs rather warily but I think this one works. It has a mix of cookie characters, which is what makes NCIS so watchable, but they are not the same as those in NCIS and the cast are clearly meant to be doing a job which is related to, but different from, NCIS. The characters are interesting for their own reasons, not just because this is a spin-off with the occasional cross-over, although these can be very funny - see Eric's 1000th facebook friend!- Was this review helpful to you?

(8)Chris O'Donnell, terrific
By MartinAce (2 reviews) from London , 20 Apr 2012A terrific action drama series. Chirs O'Donnell plays his roles as the senior team agent incredibly well, as do most of the others. LL Cool J however, is slightly less of an actor, but is kept up with a good script.
I've rented series 1 & 2 through Love Film this year (2012) and think it is one of the best series on TV ever, along with NCIS and my all time favourite, The Professionals, which was made in the early 1970's in London.- Was this review helpful to you?

Are the originals always the best?
By a customer , 24 Aug 2011Like the set up but haven't fell in love with any of the characters yet. Possibly trying too hard to capture the character play in the original NCIS- Was this review helpful to you?

Very Boring
By Goldust22 (60 reviews) from Gloucester , 18 Jul 2011Very Boring tries to much to be action based but it fails big time.
The Unit is alot better if you want an Military Crime Action Series.
Where NCIS Original is alot better if you want a drama based Military Crime series- Was this review helpful to you?

Just Awful!!
By a customer , 16 May 2011I love NCIS and American crime dramas in general. The 2 spin off episodes that were part of a previous NCIS season seemed okay, if a bit forced. But dear me in the 3rd episode they took away the female team leader, gave it a weird location and the show became excruciating. I've watched a lot of rubbish in my time but even I had to turn this off. Not a patch on the original.- Was this review helpful to you?

Very poor
By a customer from chatham , 10 Feb 2011I love NCIS and even when the storylines can be a little farfetched or weak, the interplay between the characters more than makes up for it. Sadly the same cannot be said for this spinoff. Where are Gibbs and the others when you needs them.- Was this review helpful to you?
