Daddy of the modern US cop show.

This is the best season of the best american cop show for the last 15 years. This ground-breaking show, with the first use of realistic shaky-cam, gritty and shocking storylines, nudity and colourful language (all for the time) set the ground work for modern american cop shows like The Shield. Bochco at his finest. Amazing acting, great plots,what more can I say....

Best Cop Show Ever!

NYPD Blue is without question the best cop show ever shown on TV. Great writing (many of the stories are true) and fantastic acting. The series gets better and better. Gripping and intelligent, miles better than most films that are released. Highly recommended.

BRILLIANT, SUPER, FAB...etc...

What can i say that the header doesn't?

This cop show is brilliant and i have watched them all on T.V. and now am watching them on dvd.

I am so looking forward to season 4 coming out on dvd - i'll be getting that ordered for sure.

Go on & treat yourself to a real gritty, action-packed cop series - you will not be disappointed.

Fantanstic Viewing

I don't want to give away the plot, but shocking and emotionally draining for us die-hard fans. I think that I felt it more this time than when I originally saw this. Superb acting from all parties.

Simply the best

I have watched this series from day one. The best cop series ever made. Outstanding acting particularly from Dennis Franz. Makes The Bill look like a cheap school production. NYPD Blue is gritty and realistic with superb plots and the underlying lives of the cops.

This entire series is just pure quality. Nothing has ever come near it for sheer brilliance. I LOVE IT.

You will not regret renting this series

Fantastic. The most well acted, believable characters.You will laugh, you will cry, you may even play the NYPD Blue drinking game... (google it if you want to see what I mean).

Highly recommended.

But then, if you're considering renting it you've probably already seen series 1 and 2 and I'm preaching to the converted. If you haven't - get those first!
