This isn't just another cops and robbers show. It's an in depth look at real New York City detectives whose lives are intertwined with their work. The characters are unforgettable and believable. The cast always keeps you guessing but they blend together like a true team. The stories are intriguing and it's amazing how the detectives pick up subtle clues that lead them to the perpetrators. This is definitely the gold standard of police dramas. Where is season 5?
This and The Shield are the best cop shows that have ever been on TV. NYPD Blue never had a bad episode in all its 12 seasons.
It has been many years since UK viewers have had the chance to see Season 4 again. It WAS as good--and maybe even better--as we remembered.
Only complaint is that to see the whole Season you would need to make 6 hirings which makes it rather expensive viewing. For a few bob extra you can buy the series and watch it as often as you like. And that should be plenty of times.
Well recommended.
