By a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008Naach is a beautiful and sensitive film from renowned director/producer, Ram Gopal Varma. This movie is very well shot and edited with cinematography that's pleasing to the eye. The songs are melodious and colourful, with unusual costumes and makeup. The story concerns the characters of Reva (Antara Mali), an idealistic choreographer and Abhinav (Abhishek Bachchan), a practical, aspiring actor. The two strike up a conversation on a bus journey and are later forced to work together, when Abhi needs to learn to dance for a film role. They eventually fall deeply in love, though their conflicting personalities soon clash. The tall, dark and impossibly handsome Abhishek Bachchan is undoubtedly following in his legendary father's footsteps and is fast becoming one of the finest young actors in Hindi cinema. This is by far his best performance to date. Varma regular, Antara Mali, is petite, graceful and breathtakingly sensual and her dancing is outstanding. In addition, her acting and facial expressions are totally natural and believable. Ritesh Deshmukh also impresses in a small, but significant, role. This film is perfect for those who want something more intelligent and different from the usual Bollywood fare. A must see for lovers of arthouse cinema.- Was this review helpful to you?

If you don't know what boring is try this
By a customer from England , 09 Jan 2006This film clearly shows the shear desperation of Abhishek to become an actor. This is not genetic I am afraid. Even if it was, he has't got his parent's gene and coincidentally mutated down to his basic ordinary qualities and even less.
I think he has to leave this profession and start production so he can blow his parent's fortune and making them regret such investment in him and upsetting the industry and Indian lover films.
GET A LIFE! S C R E A M !!!!!!!!!!!!!- Was this review helpful to you?

WAH KYA NAACH!
By a customer from London , 14 Sep 2005This is a leap for Abhishek Bacchan. A must see if you enjoy movies in the art area arena. Not that this is purely an art movie, but it has monotones of being an art movie. It is slow, but intense- Was this review helpful to you?

~ Terrible dances ~ Avoid the film
By a customer from Scotland , 12 Sep 2005You can watch the movie just for Abhishek bachan who acts well despite the slow pace of the film.Antara mali looks atrocious in the dances trying to do some yogic positions. Climax too is poorly scripted. Songs are picturised in poor taste. The movie shows the struggle and success in the film industry.- Was this review helpful to you?

Boring, Boring, Boring
By a customer from London. , 02 Jun 2005It's a great shame. I really like AB jnr, no matter what he does, I like his acting. However, what was he thinking of when he signed up for this movie? For a man who was looking for his first major hit, this movie is not the way to do it. The film is jazzed up a bit with sexy body shots of the actress, but the whole thing was a major let down. Hardly worth watching- Was this review helpful to you?
