Disappointing thriller...
Nada review

A French terrorist group kidnaps the American Ambassador and the police are soon on the case. This is the basic premis for the film and the 'cops are just as bad as the terrorists' is explored quite adequately and brutally. What really lets the film down is the stilted acting (even from the usually good Fabio Testi) - it's like watching planks of wood being moved around - and stodgy directing. The poor subtitles don't help - 'see ya later' all the flipping time - and 'Nada' means 'nothing', although the English subtitles translate it as 'nada'. There are better French language crime capers out there.
