[Highly rated reviewer]I took my 12 and 8 year old and they really enjoyed this film. Slightly scary in parts for the younger one but normally i'm sitting there just because I have to go but i enjoyed it. Good saturday afternoon out.

Once in a life time a movie comes along that is truly awful.By a customer from Lichfield , 12 May 2009I am honoured to have beheld true rubbish and lived to tell the tale.
Over acted, dreadful plot. I seriously had to check my ear to enure my brain was not slowly leaking out.
Watched it through to the end, but only as my legs and atrophied, and my free will had been sucked from my soul.
Give yourself a break watch paint dry instead.
EnjoyableBy Shirty (6 reviews) from Preston , 03 May 2009The best I can say about this film is it has a certain charm. Nancy Drew (Emma Roberts) has the old fashioned clothing down to a T but some of her escapes are slightly unrealisitc.
I can say that I laughed at a young boy called Corky (porky?) who follows Nancy around like a golden retriever. I know it was a children's film but my daughter saw through the transparent story line in less than three minutes.
But it had slapstick moments, bad guys falling over. The mystery was okay but the lemon cake was slightly odd? (Nancy Drew carries round lemon cake to entice robbers).
It was worth a watch and I can't say it was a pain to watch but it wasn't the best film I've seen either. Young children would like it.
Surprisingly GoodBy Andyroselle (22 reviews) from Glasgow , 08 Apr 2009My 6 year old daughter loved this film although some of it was a bit above her head to be honest.
A bit above bearable for my wife and I. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday night.
Good MovieBy superstar (5 reviews) from LONDON, UK , 03 Apr 2009I liked this movie, is was something i would have found like on the disney channel. Perfect for teenage girls and those young of heart. It got alot better at the end, and the actors were all very good.
