[Highly rated reviewer]This film was excellent, I would recommend anyone going to see this. It was a bit scary in places but Emma Thompson played Nanny McPhee very well. Best film I've seen in ages, with a fairy tale ending.

Never a dull moment with Nanny McpheeBy clairyfairy75 (8 reviews) from Hampshire , 30 Apr 2010I recently rented Nanny Mcphee prior to taking the kiddies to the ciniem to see the second film. I should point out that one of my children is mildly autistic and finds it very hard to settled to anyhting or concentrate.
Myself, both children and my Gran never moved from the sofa the whole time the film was on and both kids have asked if we can buy the film.
When it was all over my 81 yr old Gran announced 'now that what you call a real family film'
Nanny Mcphee is a very canny lady and the film really does not dissapoint and as a parent you can relax knowing that there is no violence/smoking/foul language or inuendo leading to awkward questions.
I would highly reccomend this film for good old fashioned family viewing.
a good good watchBy faith (139 reviews) from uk , 23 Apr 2010this film had humour, intrigue and mystery expected for its target audience and i cannot wait to watch the sequel. emma thompson was fabulous and the romance that came together at the end was a nice touch.
Good feel-good filmBy a customer from shropshire, UK , 06 Feb 2010I really enjoyed this film but thought it was maybe a bit too eery for small children - glad I didn't watch it with my 5 yr old
