(12)A true spoof movie
By epsilonbob (4 reviews) from Bristol , 17 Jun 2011Long before the deluge of lousy '___ movie' spoofs there was this gem. It takes jabs at all the buddy cop/ action shoot'em ups of the late 80's/ early 90's as well as many pop culture stereotypes of the time.
Add in a ton of cameos from 'current' and future stars and its just awesome. The 'interrogation' scene and Bruce Willis' cameo alone are funny enough to warrant 3 stars add on the rest of the movie and its a lock for 5 stars.- Was this review helpful to you?

Still funny
By EveL (5 reviews) from Bolton , 10 Dec 2009I remember seeing this at the cinema when this first came out and even though I laughed then the older I get the funnier I seem to find it. I do like daft comedy films and it still had me giggling away even though I knew what was coming next, A great film when you want something you dont want to think too much about.. I dont know why I still dont own it!- Was this review helpful to you?

visual humour with a delightful hint of cheese
By Richard Kirk from Tamworth , 08 Apr 2008I'll freely admit to being a fan of visual humour and this film has been a favourite of mine for a long time. Parodying anything and everything, Loaded Weapon 1 is a real treat for those who like this brand of comedy, but if you don't then probably best to steer clear, as I can imagine it annoying people as well.- Was this review helpful to you?
