CLASSIC ROCK AT IT'S BEST!
By a customer from Mid Glamorgan, South Wales , 01 Nov 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
I have seen Nazareth on many occasions since my first concert by them at the London Rainbow in 1977 and they have always been a gauranteed great live act. The last time I saw them was back in 1992 at the Cambridge Corn Exchange.
Since then they have changed both guitarist and drummer (original drummer Darrell Sweet sadly died a few years ago.) He has been replaced by Lee Agnew (son of bass player Pete) who is a competent skins man by the sounds of things. They have also augmented the line up with a keyboard player.
This DVD is a fine example of where the band are at now. Well filmed, excellent sound quality. The band seems to have had new life breathed into it as the concert is fantastic. This is a far more exciting DVD than the concert filmed at Camden Palace back in the 80's which was a bit of a subdued affair (in my opinion.)
Also included are interviews with the band (thankfully as a bonus feature and not breaking up the concert - I hate DVDs that do that!)
Do not hesitate to rent or buy even.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good stuff
By Jim Devlin from Scotland , 26 Oct 2004With only 2 of the original band members left (Dan Mcafferty and Pete Agnew) Naz can still put on a good show. Even at 58, Dan Mcafferty still has an excellent voice. 'Love Hurts', 'This Flight Tonight' and 'Hair of the Dog' are only a few of the many true classics on this DVD, a must for all Nazareth fans.- Was this review helpful to you?
