The final few (original) episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion were done with zero budget.
The animation is fragmented, recycled and the story makes no sense at all.
If you want to see an end to the series get the 'Death and Rebirth' edition which saw episodes 25 and 26 get completely re-written. They are definately worth seeing.
These are worth seeing if you have any kind of interest in psychology and how people perceive themselves, however if you are interested in a real end to this series don't watch this.
I have personally loved the neon genesis series throughout and the grand finale left me gobsmacked. Although i have to admit it was dissapointing in the fact it felt somewhat cut off and a lot of my queries were unanswered. nonetheless it's full of the atmosphere of previous episodes, definitely worth watching.
