    Classic

    It's scary to think that the first series is almost 20 years old!

    One or two of the jokes are a bit dated but Mayall carries off his character fabulously, in the crazy compelling way that only the maddest of the Young Ones ever could.

    Still very very funny. Can't wait for the next disc!

    B'stard

    I really liked the scripts and the comedy which had an end of the pier feel but slightly more sophisticated. Totally and utterly politically incorrect. No extras included (no pun intended) on the DVD but there was 6 episodes, so, 3 amusing hours to be had. Roll on series 2....
