[Highly rated reviewer]I really enjoyed watching this - I love New York for a start so anything set in the city is a huge thumbs up for me but I loved all the little stories going on in this film, very good, great cast, lovely feel good film - well worth watching

Consistently Terrible from Start to FinishBy Crockett (8 reviews) from London , 21 Nov 2013Usually when placing a film of this genre in to my DVD player, I do it with reasonably low expectations. 9 times of of ten, I am pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy films of this ilk. This film, though hilarious for all the wrong reasons, has managed to bring together some of the biggest names from the admittedly more 'Disney' side of Hollywood (Bob De Niro aside) and some joker decided to give them all utterly horrendous dialogue, beyond cheesy story lines and instructions to the effect of 'Go out there, look like you've never acted before, be as wooden as possible and cringe at the thought of why you decided to take up this particular offer of work'. Jon Bon Jovi should never be anywhere near a film and is much better suited to making bed wetting, dire, pop music. The film is so bad that Sarah Jessica Parker comes across as one of the best characters in it. The film is so bad that Bob De Niro played it all from a sick bed in hospital. I heard that he was due to play a more active role but after seeing the script and the calibre of some of the 'stars' on show, he was taken ill and the writers had to convert his role into that of a terminally ill patient. I've not laughed so much at such an awful film since watching Valentine's Day. I wonder if they were written by the same person.......
Not that greatBy a customer , 16 Nov 2013This film dragged on a bit. It was ok but nothing exciting at all and I wish I hadn't bothered.
All name no plot.By CheckmatePi (10 reviews) , 22 Oct 2013Just goes to show. A lot of big names is really no substitute for a good plot written by a good script writer.
waste of timeBy a customer , 21 Oct 2013I really looked forward to this film, hoping it would be fun, uplifting etc. Instead it was a superficial and coarse stream of scenes that did not have any impact. There was not even any remotely beautiful scenery in it. Very disappointing...
Patchy and disjointedBy a customer , 13 Oct 2013Disappointing - disjointed, not always easy to follow - a poor man's version of 'Love Actually'! Perhaps watching it at new year might help rather than out of season........?
