Rapper turned actor Ice Cube grabs writing, producing and performing credits for this follow-up to his hit US comedy Friday. Just as lowbrow in its laughs, but sadly lacking the original's darkish hue, Next Friday has Cube's street-savvy character hiding out in an affluent LA suburb where, thanks to a lottery win, his uncle is the richest man on the block. Add “comic” gangsters, a curvy señorita and a doped-up dog, and you have the recipe for some undemanding hokum that did big business Stateside. It may cut less Ice with British audiences, however.

    The Perfect Part 2

I have seen all three of the "Friday" series. I believe this second part is the best of the lot. It has more laughs and a better story plot.
