In the first one I wasn't keen on Ricky Gervais as he just irritating, but in this one he was really good.
Nice touch about what makes you happy in life...
The only thing I think let it down was Hank Azaria's voice, kinda sounded like one of those from the Simpsons - but he did look cute in a dress!- Was this review helpful to you?

Fast moving

A Decent 2nd film

A flawed but worthy sequel

I'm not a Stiller fan generally, and there were moments in this that felt very Stiller-esque in the way they were done. There were too many long 'humorous' conversations with characters. Some of these were funny, but some weren't and made me feel kind of uncomfortable watching them. If memory serves me, this wasn't an issue with the first movie. But flaws aside, I loved this movie. It was loads of fun - a vibrant colourful adventure, just like the original. Lots of really funny memorable moments. If you loved the first movie, I would have thought you'd like the sequel, but some may prefer number 1.- Was this review helpful to you?
