Excels
There are a not a great deal of horror films or indeed books that can be called original but Barker is one of those writers that has a vivid imagination that transfers onto paper and (athough not all the time), and screen exceptionally well. Nightbred is compelling, there are issues here that go well beyond the normality of a horror film, it has atmosphere, tension and a plot that shows not all horror flicks are made for gore loving fans. Well worth watching.

I first saw this movie when i was 10 years old & it was an instant classic with me. Clive Barker has a brilliant & wild imagination.
If you are a fan of horror (especially classic horror) then you really need to give this film a go. Crazy, freaky horror. -
