    Nighty Night Series 2

The first series was probably one of the funniest and best things to come out of the UK ever. For those of us with a slightly sick and dark sense of humour it was a great tonic. I have looked forward to the second series since I saw the last episode of series one. I can't stress what a disappointment this series is. There is a point which people should not pass and areas which are no longer comical but turn out to be nothing short of sick. i.e. Punching a pregnant woman in the stomache is just not funny no matter what the context.

It would appear that whoever is funding this project has given Julia Davis free reign due to the success of the first series. I don't think this was a good idea at all. The program has lost its way and has lost the plot altogether. The characters remain basically the same but that is where the similarity stops. In short, after the second episode you begin to wonder what you are watching and indeed why. It's just down right dirty to the point of uncomfortability and it's just not funny any more. Check it out for yourself and post your own review. I for one am interested in other peoples views. My view generally is I think people who liked the first series will ignore reviews such as mine and will feel the need to watch for themselves.
