Genres Drama
Run time 123 mins Certificate 18

I find it hard to believe people are so easily offended by language they percieve as unacceptable...this film depicts a world where words like this are common place... it's not meant to be 'comfortable' for the viewer, it's based on a reality (on someone elses reality obviously), if you find this film too repulsive to even finish then you're missing the point of what cinema is there for....it's there to shock and astound (amongst other things). It's there to present a world you'd of never of seen before, ugly or not, it exsists regardless of you...and that's the beauty of cinema and 'Nil by mouth' is a great piece of cinema....and Ray Winstone literally gave one of the most amazing performances we'll see in a long, long time.... from any actor.

I just wish there were more films as well crafted and beautiflluy shot made in the UK....(and yes i mean beautiful). Gary Oldman has all the makings of a great director, as he seems like an honest soul.
