Marshall heading Into the Woods

Director Rob Marshall has signed on to adapt Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's hit musical Into The Woods for the big screen. The filmmaker, who famously brought musicals Chicago and Nine to cinemas, will team up with Sondheim and Lapine for the project. Lapine is working on the script and Sondheim is composing new songs for the film version, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
