Actress Emma Stone is reportedly in talks to show off her musical skills in a new movie adaptation of hit fairytale stage show Into The Woods. Director Rob Marshall, who famously brought Chicago and Nine to the big screen, has signed up to take charge of a movie version of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's hit musical and he is said to have approached The Help star to tackle one of the lead roles. Director Rob Marshall has signed on to adapt Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's hit musical Into The Woods for the big screen. The filmmaker, who famously brought musicals Chicago and Nine to cinemas, will team up with Sondheim and Lapine for the project. Lapine is working on the script and Sondheim is composing new songs for the film version, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Comedian Steve Martin is to release a collection of his posts on Twitter.com as a book to raise money for charity. The funnyman is gathering all of his 'Tweets' and publishing them together in a book called The Ten, Make that Nine, Habits of Very Organized People. Make that Ten. Johnny Depp joined new mum Penelope Cruz as the actress unveiled the 2,436th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday (01Apr11). The Oscar winner tried to keep her cool on a sweltering hot Los Angeles day, wearing a figure-hugging purple dress and high heels.
