    A true Manga Classic

This is a true Manga Classic and when you watch now it seems amazing that this a purely hand animated movie made over 10 years ago. The story is excellent and the fight scenes are beautifully executed. People often think of Akira when talking about Manga classics, but this is an equally wonderful film. I feel that the animated sex scenes are unecessary but Manga animatord will be Manga animators.

So see this timeless animated classic and enjoy animation as it should be.

    Trash Hentai

Fine if you want animated porn. But why would anybody? Story ridiculous, artwork uninspired, ludicrous violence, characters have no depth - that's the better points. Some little boys will giggle and tell their friends all the gory details but those of us even remotely grown up are best giving it a wide bearth. Great anime is one of the finest things in the world. There has to be a bottom of the heap though and this is pretty near there.

    Tosh...

I'd wanted to see this for about ten years, after I caught a few minutes on late night Sky before being shuffled off to bed. I'm a pretty big anime fan too, I love the entire Evangelion series and films like Princess Mononoke and even the Street Fighter 2 anime. So I was excited to see Ninja Scroll...

What a disappointment. Ridiculously excessive violence, absurd leaps in logic and plot, and it's incredibly vulgar in terms of sex - I'm not a prude or anything but some of that stuff is sick. Not worth the time.

    ninja sweet scroll

Lord have mercy this is one ultra super sweet classic. The animation is as good as tom and jerry and acting also, man that mouse was so convincing. Its got an awesomly good plot about ninjas doing what they do best, kicking arse in loads of super ultra cool ways. The film also cuts your emotions well deep better than any meg ryan movie. The scene where Kagero died was one of the most powerfull i have ever seen since 300.

    Classic

I've seen this film a thousand times. I'd watch it a thousand more too. A good ol' beat em' up with amazing characters with special abilities. Second only to Akira!

    Timeless

Probably one of the best samurai manga films ever. It is just as a ninja film should be.
