    A mixed season

The first two seasons of Nip Tuck exceeded expectations, it started off as little more than a glossy soap with graphic surgery, but quickly developed in to one of the finest drama's on television at the moment.

It's impressive fast pace, realistic dialogue, and astonishing amount of twists made it a must see tv series, albeit one treated abysmally by Channel Four.

But this third season is a mixed bag. There are some stand out episodes, but at times it feels like it's running out of steam a little, and the revelation of who the Carver is may well disappoint.

At times it seems characters are forgotten about (Julia has a lot less to do this season for instance), and some of the twists can be seen a mile off for once, but overall it's still a damn fine tv series. But just not quite as good as you might wish it was...
