The first two seasons of Nip Tuck exceeded expectations, it started off as little more than a glossy soap with graphic surgery, but quickly developed in to one of the finest drama's on television at the moment.
It's impressive fast pace, realistic dialogue, and astonishing amount of twists made it a must see tv series, albeit one treated abysmally by Channel Four.
But this third season is a mixed bag. There are some stand out episodes, but at times it feels like it's running out of steam a little, and the revelation of who the Carver is may well disappoint.
At times it seems characters are forgotten about (Julia has a lot less to do this season for instance), and some of the twists can be seen a mile off for once, but overall it's still a damn fine tv series. But just not quite as good as you might wish it was...
It is based on two plastic surgeons Troy/mc Namara and it is a thriller part gory and very suspensful.
The storylines are amazing a lot of effort has gone into this series. I thorougly enjoyed season 1 and 2 this just gets better watch it and be amazed.
Never ceases to stop surprising me, always a twist and an unexpected turn. Killing me waiting for the next episodes.

I loved it..was full of twists & shocks.
Is always helped by the fact that Dr Troy is very easy on the eye.
If you loved the first 2 series of this, then this series wont be dissapointing.
Id suggest that everyone who is into american drama gives this ago, i know a lot of people assume that this is just about surgeons doing what surgeons do but it has to be said season 3 has made this show something else. Fat woman stuck to chairs???? Murder Drama Comedy and confusion got to be one of the best dramas out of America.
Season 3's plot lines have become rather outlandish and perverse, rather like the later seasons of Melrose Place.
Still, I find the show hugely entertaining and beguiling. The strength of the acting still shines through...
With 2 successful series behind them and a therefore guaranteed audience, Nip/Tuck, in season 3, has been able to take more chances with the darker elements that have made it stand out from all other tv dramas. Much better than series 2 (which i felt was a bit muddy at times) this season has fantastic murderous sub-plots and sexual antics. Definitely the best yet...
Obease ladies stuck to sofas, Joan Rivers putting sperm on her face and a whodunit! all wraped up and a very sexy package! Season 3 is a definate must see for Nip Tuck fans.
The charcters have definatly take a turn towards the dark side! dealing with thier demons in true over the top style!
But be warned some of the story lines can be a little disturbing and the surgery scenes are not for the faint harted!
But without doubt the smartest, most dramatic, comedy on Telly today!
Doesnt get any better then this! its sick, twisted, grusome = Fab!!
