When Russian astronomer Anita Ekberg claims she was attacked by a US astronaut on a jointly run moonbase, US Lunar Division chief Robert Morley decrees that in future all US moonbase personnel will be married couples. Consequently Jerry Lewis, next in line to staff the moonbase, hastily has to arrange a wedding to fellow worker Connie Stevens in order to fulfil his mission. This was yet another uncomfortable vehicle for Lewis who was finding it increasingly difficult to find suitable material and collaborators. Thankfully, old pros Morley and Brian Keith provide some amusing substance to the lunatic proceedings.

Fast-paced remake of The Big Clock (qv) which does not efface the memory of the original.

    Good film

A fast-paced action drama that gradually hooks you in.

No Way Out engages the viewer with some great scenes of suspense and claustrophobia. Costner isn’t the best actor you’ve ever seen, but he plays his part well. Recommended.
