When Russian astronomer Anita Ekberg claims she was attacked by a US astronaut on a jointly run moonbase, US Lunar Division chief Robert Morley decrees that in future all US moonbase personnel will be married couples. Consequently Jerry Lewis, next in line to staff the moonbase, hastily has to arrange a wedding to fellow worker Connie Stevens in order to fulfil his mission. This was yet another uncomfortable vehicle for Lewis who was finding it increasingly difficult to find suitable material and collaborators. Thankfully, old pros Morley and Brian Keith provide some amusing substance to the lunatic proceedings.

Fast-paced remake of The Big Clock (qv) which does not efface the memory of the original.

    Good film

A fast-paced action drama that gradually hooks you in.

No Way Out engages the viewer with some great scenes of suspense and claustrophobia. Costner isn’t the best actor you’ve ever seen, but he plays his part well. Recommended.

    Good Stuff

This movie starts off a little slowly and cheesily, but definitely gets better and better as it progresses. The acting is quite good and the plot keeps you interested. One to recommend.

    Then Force Your Way In

Excellent film with a good story, good acting and some good chases. The only drawbacks are the sex scene and the cheesy 80s music. Highly recommended. Rent this now.

    EXCEPTIONAL THRILLER!!!

This is a truly wonderful film. A great plot, billiant script and powerful performances, along with a sensational soundtrack, make this a firm favourite of mine. Costner and Hackman shine in their roles and Sean Young gets her kit off in the back off a Limo! Watch and enjoy.

    Better than Bond

This realistic spy thriller show the James Bond films up for what they really are, expensively made rubbish. No Way out is a fast moving drama with a good twist at the end.

    A solid, compelling film...

I think this is one of the few films Kevin Cosner has made where he actually exudes charisma. He plays a CIA man who becomes embroiled in an affair with a mistress of a top goverment official. When she winds up dead, he becomes the unknown top suspect. There are some clunky action setpieces but ultimately there is enough here to keep you entertained until the shocking climax.....

A top of the heap thriller

Although 20 years old now, this is still the best thriller I’ve seen. The tension in the last section of the film is almost unbearable, and although there is some violence it isn’t gratuitous. If you like being on the edge of your seat this is probably for you !

    Don't do it

If you have any reservations about Kevin Costner then stay away from this film. The first 20 minutes must be the worst start to afilm ever. It does get going after an incident. But still... Oh Well..

    Gripping

This film was a bit slow to start of with, however Kevin Costner played his part very well and the movie became very intense as it went on. I would recommend this film as the story was very good.
