Nobody's Fool is a great book and this film doesn't do it justice. Melanie Griffiths and Bruce Willis were woefully miscast. The humour and warmth is lost. However, it's not terrible and worth watching on a wet afternoon.

About the reviewer: Pinkmat

I'm a 62 year old grandmolther and I have loved films all my life, starting with Saturday morning pictures in the 1950s. I can't always get out to the cinema due to ill health and disability so Lovefilm is brilliant for people like me. My favourite film(s) of all time is Jean de Florette/Manon des Sources. I love French films. They are so subtle compared to some American blockbusters.
